H2O Pro Pty Ltd was established in 1997 with a mission to create a reputation for high quality training in life saving skills for industry and the community.
With an emphasis on training Pool Lifeguards we quickly became accepted as a leading training provider in this field and our expertise was sought by industry bodies and skills councils. In addition our drive for quality training saw us limit our class sizes to improve the quality of our courses and provide a better learning experience.
Although based in Victoria our reputation for quality training extended interstate and we soon had clients in Northern Territory, Queensland, New South Wales and Western Australia.
In addition we expanded our training to include First Aid training and this opened our markets to include schools, kindergartens, golf clubs and general industry.
As a Registered Training Organisation (RTO) we have to meet the requirements of the Australian Quality Training Framework (AQTF) which is administered in Victoria by the Victorian Qualifications & Registration Authority.
The AQTF sets the standards which RTO’s must meet in the delivery of accredited training including details on how assessments are conducted and information that must be provided to candidates undertaking our training courses.
Our small team (4 full time staff and 14 casual staff) are kept busy meeting the compliance requirements of the AQTF and also training excess of 2,500 candidates per annum.
Over the past few years our clientele has included well known organisations such as Coca Cola, Aussie Disposals, Monash University Medical Service, YMCA, Alex Fraser Recycling, Belgravia Leisure, Buloke Shire, Shire of Mitchell, Town of Victoria Park, City of Kalgoorlie - Boulder and Southern Grampians Shire.
To support our training we also source and stock rescue equipment used by pool lifeguards and have set up an equipment hire service to assist organisations to conduct their own in-house training.
